The London art scene is currently hosting a powerful and long overdue celebration of Nigerian creativity with the landmark exhibition Nigerian Modernism at the Tate Modern. Running from October 2025 to May 2026, the exhibition is the first major UK show to comprehensively trace the trajectory of modern art in Nigeria, bringing together over 250 works from more than 50 artists.
